We weren't looking to add another young junior herd
sire to our herd, but when we were given the opportunity to select one of
the best young males from the well-respected breeding program at Silver Rose
Ranch Alpacas, we just had to take a closer look. We really liked what
we saw in this young Peruvian Presidio grandson. Cirrus has luscious
fine, well-bundled, consistent fleece from his topknot to his tail. We
looked at other males, but we kept coming back to Cirrus because he just
seemed to have it all. Genetics on his sire's side include Peruvian Presidio and
PPeruvian Caligula and the extremely well regarded Peruvian Bueno on his
dam's side. We believe that there is nothing but "up-side" potential
with his Herd sire. Cirrus's first cria hit the ground in 2009
and they are exceptional!
