Help us celebrate National Alpaca Farm Day

 Once again Ahh…Sweet Alpacas invites the public to our Open Ranch Day in celebration of National Alpaca Farm Day.  All the activities are FREE!!

Be Sure to Bring Your Camera!

There will be dozens of alpacas, in a wide variety of color for your viewing pleasure.  You will be able to see them close up, and get your hands on several of them. 

There will be several ladies, demonstrating spinning the Alpaca Fleece into yarn.  You will be able to see the entire process, from raw fleece, to yarn, to finished product.  Alpaca Acres Ranch will bring much of their “Ranch Store” and set up for your shopping pleasure.  They will have a variety of alpaca products; sweaters, scarves, teddy bears, etc. available.  There will also be yarn and raw fleece available.  You can even listen to a presentation on the history of alpacas, very educational program by Rachel Bockrath.

Please remember that this is a working ranch.  You will be outdoors, in open pastures and paddocks.  So be mindful of the weather and wear comfortable shoes.  Unfortunately, there will not be public restrooms available.

If you plan to bring a large group, please call us in advance.  This will help us to better schedule our activities.
