Cirrus ARI # 30003291 Stud fee $1000 |
|
We weren't looking to add another young junior herd
sire to our herd, but when we were given the opportunity to select one of
the best young males from the well-respected breeding program at Silver Rose
Ranch Alpacas, we just had to take a closer look. We really liked what
we saw in this young Peruvian Presidio grandson. Cirrus has luscious
fine, well-bundled, consistent fleece from his topknot to his tail. We
looked at other males, but we kept coming back to Cirrus because he just
seemed to have it all. Genetics on his sire's side include Peruvian Presidio and PPeruvian Caligula and the extremely well regarded Peruvian Bueno on his
dam's side. We believe that there is nothing but "up-side" potential
with his young Junior Herd sire. Cirrus's first cria are eagerly
expected in the fall of 2009.
If fineness and overall fleece character are important to your
breeding program, then take a close look at Our Peruvian Cirrus.
Cirrus is another joint venture between Bruce & Joan of Ahh..Sweet Alpacas
and Rick & Pam Brady of Oak Valley Alpaca.

If you are looking for a white, Full Peruvian male,
who is likely to throw
color, with stunning brightness
to his fleece and fiber quality that is amazing, Glacier is
the perfect match for your Dams. Steve Murray of LassenView Alpacas, one of
the premier alpacas shearers, exclaimed "Glacier has simply the best
fleece I have seen all year". His bundling fiber is very dense and has
wonderful character, which is to be expected when you look at his
outstanding lineage of Hemingway's Mister Antonio, Peruvian Bueno and
multiple get-of-sire winner Snowbelt HotScot. Glacier's excellent
conformation, perfect bite, tremendous fleece and quality genetics are a
package that is sure to enhance the fiber in your herd. As a testimony to
the quality of his fleece, the first two breedings, we sold were to the
shearer, Steve Murray
Glacier’s first cria burst upon the show scene in 2007. Finian took 1st
place for White Juvenile Males at the California Classic (class of 14).
Sweet Marguerite took 1st Place (class of 13) and then took
COLOR CHAMPION for White Females at Alpaca Mania. DAR Spicer did the same, taking
First (class of 15) and then Color Champion for Brown Males at the same
show.
Don’t miss the chance to add these Championship Genetics to your breeding
program.

Silver Sage ARI # 1232073 Stud fee $1000
|
|
LV Silver Sage
appears to be a chip off the old block. His fleece is
very fine, with a soft handle and incredible staple length. Little
Sage's first 3 cria have arrived. A stunning True Black, a Silver
Gray, and an incredible Rose Gray. Best part, all 3 are FEMALE!
The Black, Esperanza is out of our True Black Dam. The Silver Gray is
an outside breeding with a Biege Dam, and the Rose Gray was also an outside
breeding with a dark Vicuna Brown. LV Silver Sage's fleece
is almost Blue-Gray, uniform with no spots in the blanket. Both the
Silver Gray and the Rose Gray girls also managed a spotless blanket.
Esperanza is just Solid Black, Black, Black with no spotting of any kind.
If you are looking for gray, you should come a take a look at

Mostly Black ARI# 1293104 Price $10,000
Stud fee $1000 |

ASA’s Mostly Black, nicknamed Mo is
just that, Black! Mo’s sire is the renowned Rose Gray Herdsire, Claim
Jumper. When Mo was first born, we were certain that he was a solid
Charcoal Gray as he had a gray cast to his fleece. I asked the shearer, how
he liked my gray boy when he sheared him. His response was, he is very nice
but, he is Mostly Black. The name simply stuck.
Mo’s Dam is Sweet Ceylon, our True Black whose first 4 cria were all Black,
and the last two have been Silver Gray. His sire is Claim Jumper, a Rose
Gray, with 3 additional generations of Gray in his background. Mo is a
solid boy, whose fleece has a very nice handle to it. So if color is what
you crave, Mo is your man. He has settled his first female and is anxious
to settle yours. |
